"Many Photos" - Tinder is flooded with pictures of women posing in front of SAME neon sign at Tonight Josephine

Dating app Tinder has been flooded with pictures of women posing in front of the same neon sign inside a London bar.

The bright pink sign is emblazoned with a take on American historian Laurel Thatcher Ulrich's famous quote 'Well-behaved women seldom make history', and is inside Waterloo-based club Tonight Josephine, popular with Instagram fans.

However in a thread posted to Reddit on Thursday, which has since gone viral, a man has noted the huge influx of profile photos showing singletons standing by the same sign.

Sharing a collage of almost 20 women posing in front of the placard which reads 'Well behaved women don't make history', the user captioned it with: 'Tinder anywhere near this one bar in London'.

And his post quickly racked up over 35,000 likes, with hundreds of users- mainly male- admitting they had come across the same pictures on the online dating app.

One user wrote: 'It's definitely a true thing! Tinder in London is full of this!'.

Revealing that they had seen it on other apps too, one remarked: 'So weird, I've literally just had a date from Hinge and was telling her all about the ridiculous amount of girls on apps that have this photo, then I couldn't find it when I searched.

'I open Tinder on the tube home and this is the first thing I see.'

Another added: 'That sign is both the most genius thing ever for marketing: telling drunk women it's okay to spend more money and get more drinks and act crazier bringing in more men. And also just the most stupid thing ever.'

And the thread attracted comments from all over the world, with other single men admitting they had similar locations in there area.

One bachelor wrote: 'This must be a thing girls all over the world do. I won't specify what they are, but there's a few places around my area with similar 'opportunities for photo shoots' that just about every single girl on Tinder seemed to have a picture with when I was on there.'

And an American singleton added: 'I feel like every other city has something akin to this. For example, living in southern California, I can't tell you how many pictures I've seen of people standing in front of the same 4 angel wings murals in Venice.

'Usually accompanied with a bio that mentions how The Office is their favorite tv show & boba is their favorite drink. (sic)

Others questioned whether the new craze of photogenic restaurants and bars meant that an increasing number of revelers were going out to take pictures rather than have fun.

The user wrote: 'I have the feeling most people go out nowadays so they can post about how much of a good time they're having, instead of actually having a good time'.

Tonight Josephine has bars in both Waterloo and in Shoreditch, which opened in 2017.

The venues, which boast an array of neon-lit signs with sassy statements, was previously described by Time Out as a 'Venus fly-trap for Insta-obsessed millennial feminists'.

Celebrities including reality stars Gemma Collins, Amber Dowding and Nicola Hughes have all been spotted there.
