PREGNANT Meghan Markle left her baby shower in a statement hat emblazoned with the word ‘RECTIFY’ as the bitter feud with her family rages on.
The Duchess of Sussex looked in high spirits as she left the celebrations in New York with her inner circle – where Kate Middleton was noticeably absent.
Her pregnancy has been mired by rumours of a royal “rift” with Kate and William as well as escalating tensions with her own father.
So stepping out in the cryptic baseball cap may get some royal fans talking about whether Meghan is sending a secret message to certain people in her life.
Meghan, 37, has surrounded herself with A-list pals including Amal Clooney and Serena Williams this week as she celebrates her impending due date.
But Kate decided to give the baby shower a miss in favour of spending the half term break on a secret skiing holiday with her brood.
She and Wills, 36, blocked out their diaries to ensure they spent quality time with their children, who are off school this week.
According to a royal source, the Cambridges have jetted off on a secret snow-filled holiday for some much-needed family time together.
Despite Kate’s absence, Meghan looked the picture of happiness as she left her baby shower at The Mark Hotel’s £57,000-a-night penthouse.
She cut a casual figure in the baseball cap, tracksuit and trainers under a camel coat.
She clutched a large leather handbag as she was flanked by security guards leaving the hotel.
Meghan kept a protective hand on her bump as she moved through a crowd of photographers.
She was said to have been wearing a black and white polka dot dress for the party.
Her exit came after Amal Clooney, Suits star Abigail Spencer and stylist Jessica Mulroney were all snapped leaving the hotel in a snow shower.
A source said: “The night was anything but low key. Meghan showed she can still hit the town.”
Earlier in the day Mad Men actress Abigail Spencer was seen bringing in what appears to be a blue gift, almost 24 hours after she was seen carrying something wrapped in blue paper.
Tennis star Serena Williams and human rights lawyer Amal Clooney were said to be co-hosting the event for the Penthouse Suite.
Williams is reportedly footing the £60,000 ($75,000) bill for extravagant shower.
It is America’s most expensive hotel room and is described as “A Castle in the Sky”.
The room is 10,000 square-feet and has an additional 2,500 square-feet of terrace, overlooking Central Park in the Big Apple.
It boasts of five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, two wet bars, a dining room, a conservatory, and a living room that can be “transformed into a full-size Grand Ballroom”, as described by the hotel.
Designer suitcases costing £230 a pop, harpist Erin Hill who has played for Kanye West and a candy floss machine and are just some of the upscale items seen being wheeled in today.

A 3-in-1 convertible crib that retails at £290 ($379) was also taken into the lavish hotel.
Caterers were snapped carrying boxes into the Mark Hotel, where the 37-year-old’s baby shower was set to take place at 12.30pm local time, Tatler reports.
Meghan’s baby shower reportedly started with a flower arranging lesson paired with a dessert table prepared by the restaurant’s head chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The guest list was also set to include Meghan’s best friend and unofficial stylist Jessica Mulroney, fashion designer Misha Nonoo, her wedding hairstylist Serge Normant, publicist Celine Khavarani and NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group chairman the one who gave her the role in Suits Bonnie Hammer.
It was suggested the baby shower was going to be yesterday, but today’s deliveries appear to send a different message.

The mum-to-be is enjoying five days in the Big Apple at a posh hotel ahead of the event organised by pals.
Meghan, now seven months pregnant, flew from London to the US last Friday for five nights of shopping and pampering.
She was spotted buying baby clothes at high-end store Bonpoint and enjoying a leisurely lunch in the city on Saturday.
A pal said: “The trip is a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves.
“This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg until after the baby is born so it’s nice to share precious moments.
“It’s been a relaxing visit. Nothing beats face time with your friends. Meg will be flying home refreshed and relaxed—and with a lot of new baby clothes.”
And best friends, including Jessica Mulroney, have organised a special baby shower party on Tuesday at an exclusive New York hotel.
Foodie Meghan, 37, has enjoyed exclusive private dining at her swanky hotel.
She was also spotted with stylist pal Jess, 39, at the French Ladurée cafe in New York’s SoHo district on Saturday, February 16, for macaroons and tea in one of the bakery’s private spaces.
A witness said: “They were having a lovely time, laughing and talking with each other.”
Meghan flew to see her best mates after enjoying a low-key Valentine’s Day meal with husband Harry, 33, on Thursday night.
The Sun revealed he’d taken a £26,000 private jet to make it to Norway and back in a day so he could spend the evening with his wife.

She and Harry will visit Morocco for a two-day visit on behalf of the British government.
