"Many Photos" - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are heading to Mongolia and Georgia in upcoming episodes of The Grand Tour

JEREMY Clarkson once told me he was three countries short of visiting every country in the world.

One of them was North Korea and I can’t remember the other two.

But having been to Mongolia, Georgia and Azerbaijan for upcoming episodes of The Grand Tour, he’s possibly down to one.

We’ll see Jezza, May and Hammond build a vehicle with flat-packed parts in Mongolia.

There’s an epic 1,000km drive from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea (Georgia to Azerbaijan) in an Aston Martin DBS, Bentley Continental GT and BMW 850i. Plus the trio go on a mini holiday in Arizona in modified RVs.

Other cars featured over the next eight weeks include Neil Armstrong’s Corvette, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Corvette ZR1, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Polo GTI v Fiesta ST v Yaris GRMN, Lancia Delta Integrale, Lancia Stratos, Porsche 917, Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa.

Tomorrow’s show is a belter: three cut-price classics on a tour of Scotland, above. Jezza in a Alfa Romeo GTV6, Hammond in a Fiat X1/9 and May in a Lancia Gamma Coupe.

The 14th and final episode, all streamed on Amazon Prime of course, looks back at the Ford Cortina, Mondeo and Sierra RS Cosworth.
