We are midway through January and if you are needing any motivation to get into shape, you can find all the inspiration by searching the hashtag #ChiveFit. Week 2 in this campaign has shown no signs of slowing down so we decided to do some digging and check on our Chivers and Chivettes to see how much ass has been kicked. The number is impressive.
One of my favorite stories to follow, personally, is @fat2fitkass. She began her #chivefit journey in 2017 and has been crushing it since. Me being a big fan, decided to reach out to her to get the scoop on this incredible story of hers while getting some words of advice for anyone who is on the same path. “March of 2017 I realized how bad it had gotten”. Our friend from Chive On Seattle decided to turn a new leaf once and for all and go for it, knowing the road would be a hard one. “I’ve lost about 220 lbs in 17 months. It’s been a rough going. Lots of ups and downs.”
I asked what her advice would be to those on a similar path, and here is what she said. “Never give up! There will always be great things waiting around the corner, You just have to be willing to work for them!”
Asking about her next step, here is what she closed out with. “I will be doing the Undie Run with Team Seattle on the 9th! Getting way out of my comfort zone for a good cause.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.
