SUSANNA Reid has been the target of cruel trolls who have taunted her over her weight loss.
The Good Morning Britain host, 48, recently lost two stone after ditching alcohol and snacks.
But not everyone has been complimentary about the television presenter, with Susanna sharing harsh messages directed at her on Twitter today.
One read: “She’ll put it back pretty soon #alwaysbeenbig.”
Another said: “Lost too much weight now, looking very drawn and older.”
However, the broadcaster’s fans were quick to jump to her defence with the BBC’s Naga Munchetty tweeting: “To those who think hating and criticising is an acceptable way to spend your time: YOU ARE AN IDIOT. STOP BEING A WASTE OF SPACE. TRY TO BE BETTER.”
One of Susanna’s followers hailed her as a “stunner”, while another wrote: “I can’t believe what famous females have to put up with… makes me sick.”
Someone else posted: “Unfortunately it’s pure and simple jealousy of a smart, successful and strong woman,” while one other devotee told Susanna to “keep being fabulous”.
The TV star lost weight without hitting the gym by giving up carbs, booze and snacks.
And Susanna has since shared the secrets of her exercise-free weight loss.
She’s previously revealed how she slimmed down without going to the gym, and now she’s explained how she did it.
Mum-of-three Susanna says it’s been more than 100 days since she drank alcohol and feels sharper and more healthy without it.
She’s also cut out carb-laden meals and stopped snacking to help her slim down without the need for sweaty work out sessions.
The telly beauty told the Daily Express: “I wanted to shift some weight and as part of that I gave up drink…
“I’ve stopped snacking between meals and I am eating more sensibly too.”
However, Susanna admits she may give in and have a proper drink over Christmas.
She added: “Christmas always throws a spanner in the works…
“It might come to Christmas Day and someone pours me a large glass of Bucks Fizz – or on New Year’s Eve I might fancy some vodka shots.
“But then again I might feel like I can keep going.”

On Good Morning Britain this week, co-host Piers Morgan gave Susanna a healthy food hamper for her birthday and said: “The worst thing about being alcohol-free, you’re basically awake all the time, you obviously don’t sleep.
“You don’t do anything, you just exercise and eat kale.”
But Susanna quickly corrected him, saying: “Actually I don’t do any exercise at all.”
She went on to explain: “I stopped going to the gym, I found it made me too hungry…
“I’ve levelled out, I lost a stone-and-a-half and that’s enough, and I don’t go to the gym.”
