Khabib Nurmagomedov's convincing win over Conor McGregor was marred by ugly scenes outside the Octagon as a mass brawl broke out between the two fighters' teams.
Khabib forced McGregor to submit before quickly hopping over the cage to get his hands on the Irishman's team-mate Dillon Danis. Chaos ensued and now it appears that McGregor may be the man responsible for the ugly scenes.
New footage shows the Irishman tried to follow Khabib out of the cage and hit the Russian's coach with a few cheap shots.

Things turned ugly as the teams of both fighters clashed, leading to a mass brawl outside
It looks like McGregor threw the first punch, landing a cheap shot on McGregor's trainer
Khabib's trainer tries to run out of the Octagon to protect his fighter but is stopped in his tracks by a swinging fist of McGregor who was also scaling the cage.
That first cheap shot caused to the trainer to jump back down in order to return the favour and is probably what lead to other members of the Russian's team rushing into the Octagon.
Three of Khabib's allies have been arrested after they found their way into the cage in order to attack McGregor.
One was able to sneak up from behind and land a sickening blow to the back of the Irishman's head.
McGregor's cheap shot might be why Khabib's teammate attacked the Irishman from behind
Dana White was disgusted by the post-match scenes and refused to hand over the title to the Russian in case the handover caused ever more fighting within the crowd with sets of Russian and Irish fans already fighting before the match even began.
Khabib was apologetic in the press conference following the fight but said he couldn't understand why McGregor didn't share any of the blame.
The Irishman had insulted Khabib's family and religion during the build-up to the fight and previously the Irishman had injured others by throwing a dolly through the window of Khabib's bus.
