But Jurgen Klopp’s side will have to put in a remarkable performance when they welcome Italian giants Napoli to Anfield.

What do Liverpool need to do to qualify?


Liverpool must win 1-0 or by two clear goals to progress to the last-16.


The Reds will not qualify with any other one goal win because Napoli would finish with a better head-to-head record.


But three points from any scoreline will be enough to send them through if PSG lose against Red Star Belgrade.


If Liverpool win by any scoreline and PSG draw, then three teams in Group C would finish on nine points.


Klopp’s team would then qualify because of their superior head-to-head record.

What has Jurgen Klopp said?


Speaking ahead of the clash, he said: “The competition is like this. You play the strongest teams and if you want to go through you have to win.


“We didn’t win often enough to be through already. That is our mistake and now we can put it right if we perform.


“We all know the results we need and it is quite difficult. Napoli are good in possession, counterattack as well, typical Italian team good at defending.


“It’s a big challenge but if something special is possible it is here and that is why we should try.”

When is Liverpool vs Napoli?


This match will place TONIGHT.


It will be held at the Anfield stadium.


The highly anticipated clash will kick-off at 8pm.
