STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Ashley Roberts has indulged in a spot of crystal healing ahead of this weekend’s ballroom final.
The former Pussycat Dolls, 37, narrowly made it through to the BBC stalwart’s grand finale on Sunday after landing in the dance-off opposite British Paralympic Lauren Steadman, 25.
Despite her hurdle, Ashley, who has found herself in the dance-off three times, revealed on Instagram that she’s using crystal healing to help give her focus ahead of this weekend.
Sharing a photo of a pink candle and book ‘The Power of Crystal Healing’, she wrote: “My kind of evening. Thanks @selenaandsophia for the yummy candle and @your_emmalucy for the good reading vibes. #goodvibes”.
The performer, who is partnered with Pasha Kovalev, appeared to be using the book, which claims to “change your energy and live a high-vibe life”, to re centre her energy following a physical rehearsal.
Her post comes hours after Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas jumped to Ashley’s defence after she was slammed for being on the show with previous dancing experience.

Addressing the backlash she has faced from viewers who have accused her of having an “unfair advantage”, Shirley insisted Ashley “trains for hours and hours” just like her celebrity competitors.
She told the Loose Women yesterday: “She’s not a professional ballroom or latin dancer and she’s had to learn those ropes like everybody else.
“Like Faye [Tozer], she has a great ear for music and when you have a great ear for music choreographic patterns can be so much easier.
“You can choreograph to words as well as numbers so I would say that that’s the part that her and Faye do extremely well.”

Insisting the American dancer has had to work just as hard, she added: “”She puts hours and hours and hours in, just like everybody else.”
Jane Moore then suggested that Faye and Ashley’s musical backgrounds doesn’t create “a level playing field”, but Shirley claimed all the contestants have different strengths and weaknesses.
She explained: “Everybody brings something to the table. Entertainment, musicality, lifts – everybody has a journey.”
