While there's no denying that Christmas is the time for extra sparkle and glitter, one Russian nail salon has divided beauty fans with its efforts at festive manicures.
Showcasing their latest creations to 2.1 million Instagram fans, Moscow-based ail Sunny, revealed a remarkable reindeer design - which comes complete with a sleigh full of presents and reins made from gold chains that interlink between the nails.
Other extravagant designs include nails tipped with real pieces of Christmas tree hung with bauble decorations, and red-and-white striped candy canes which come wrapped with bows.

Tree-mendous: The talented nail artist uses actual pine from a Christmas tree to create this intricate festive design
A clip revealing how the reindeer look is created was viewed more than 85,748 times - but if the comments are anything to go by, not everyone will be in a hurry to recreate the look.
Some praised the manicurists for the creativity of the designs, with one going so far as to say 'the most insane nail designs I've ever seen,' and another adding, 'this is talent.'
Meanwhile, others were concerned about the practicality of day-to-day life with the likes of reindeers and pine leaves hanging from their nails.
One user wrote, 'OMG for a pic, great! not practical unless you're a princess,' while another said, 'How does she eat or write?'
Some users were concerned over the practicality of the nail art and were perplexed over how you would be able to write or even drink with the intricate designs
The step-by-step video shows a manicurist starting by making the reindeers out of a plasticine-type mould and then painting them with brown and gold nail varnish, with a dash of red for the noses.
Then with a keen eye for detail, she intricately secures each individual reindeer onto separate nails before delicately interlinking a gold chain throughout.
Asking for their followers opinions on the deer art, the talented manicurist captioned the picture:
'Deer for the Christmas - YAY OR NAY?' - and followers weren't holding back with their responses.
A step-by-step video shows how you can recreate the festive scene at home. Firstly, paint your nails white and flick on some sparkly dust to recreate the snowy scene, and then after moulding the reindeer and sleigh, paint them with varnish accordingly
The intricate gold chain detail to replicate the reindeer's reigns adds to the finished effect and ensures they won't get away
Many of Nail Sunny's followers were in shock at the intricacy of the design and the effort that had gone into recreating the festive scene.
'When you love Christmas a little too much,' wrote one follower, while another said: 'Taking this Christmas party to the next level.'
One even joked about recreating them for school: 'Let's make these and wear them into our exams.'
Instagram followers were quick to take to Instagram, commenting how extravagant the nail designs were. One even joked, 'let's make these and wear them into our exams'
The founders of the weird yet wonderful salon which offers endless unique manicures, are sisters Eleonora and Arina Movsisyan.
They lived in Los Angeles before taking their experience to Moscow to open the salon.
In October, Femail told how they added live ants and even edible noodles to their creations - but it was the design which saw thick strands of hair stuck onto the nail bed (below) that really caused a reaction, with one declaring: 'This might be the most disturbing yet.'
