A HUSBAND has been dubbed Britain’s clumsiest man after 24 years of calamities.

Craig Stephens melted a fridge and crashed a car despite being a non-driver.

This real-life Frank Spencer is a complete liability for the family

Wife Debbie, 55, said: “Craig is a walking disaster. He’s like Frank Spencer.”

She was first alerted to his clumsiness when they wed in 1995.

He flooded the bathroom after leaning on a sink then blew up the oven by rewiring it wrongly.

Another time she left their two boys in the car with passenger Craig when she popped to the loo at a McDonald’s.

He knocked the handbrake changing radio stations, causing it to smash into a wall.

Defrosting the fridge, he put a two-bar fire inside to speed it up and melted the plastic.

Edinburgh business owner Craig, 50, said: “I am a bit of a clutz. I’m grateful Debbie puts up with my shenanigans.”

Debbie, whose sons with Craig are now 22 and 24, added: “When he cracked the TV, I thought about a divorce. But I love him flaws and all.”
