CHAMP proved he’s all his class with a fine performance in the Sefton Novices’ Hurdle.
The Nicky Henderson-trained gelding breezed into the race and had no trouble seeing off Emitom in second.
Mark Walsh, deputising for the injured Barry Geraghty, slid into the lead two from home and as soon as he pushed the button, the response was immediate.
