When is Meghan Markle’s baby due?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s first child is due in spring 2019, possibly around late April.
The couple are yet to reveal Meghan’s exact due date.
Kensington Palace announced the news on October 15, 2018, five months after the couple married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The confirmation came after weeks of fan speculation about a potential pregnancy.
Their child will be seventh in line to the throne but it won’t have the prince or princess title because of a rule created in 1917.
Descendants of Prince Harry are too far removed from Queen Elizabeth to have the Royal Highness title, so they are most likely to use the royal family’s personal surname Mountbatten-Windsor.
Some royal observers have indicated that the arrival of her friend Wendell Pierce, 55, in London could indicate the baby is due very soon.
The Suits actor wrote on Twitter: “It’s great to be living and working in London while the exciting builds around the Duchess of Sussex soon giving birth to her first child.
“Meghan, I’m very happy for you. Blessings.”

Kensington Palace announced the news on its official Twitter page.
The message read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

Some royal watchers are convinced that Meghan Markle is pregnant with twins.
In November Paddy Power suspended bets on the chances of a double royal arrival after an abnormal number of wagers were placed on the royal couple welcoming two babies.
Bookmakers have slashed the odds of the Duchess of Sussex giving birth to twins, with Ladbrokes offering 4-1 odds on a double celebration for the royal couple.
Odds have been slashed further by Coral, with the possibility of twins down from 6-1 to 3-1.
The paper claims that one high-ranking courtier was among those who have placed a bet on the outcome.
Many fans have commented on the size of Meghan’s bump, despite the fact she isn’t due to give birth until April.
One tweeted: “That Meghan Markle is having twins I swear #giantbump,” while another wrote: “I’m just gonna say it right now: Meghan Markle is going to have twins, one boy and one girl.”
Due to Meghan’s age (37) she is more likely to have twins – or even triplets – than a woman still in her twenties.
There has been no comment from Kensington Palace about the rumour, and their statement refers to one baby not two.
