A THUG threw his pal’s dog in a SKIP after the doting puppy bothered him when he was trying to sleep, police say.
James Balboni, 28, has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly lashing out at the helpless pup in Wareham, Massachusetts, last Sunday.
He was staying with the friend when he is said to have thrown the black-and-which pooch in a commercial wheelie bin.
Officers from Wareham’s Department of Natural Resources were called to the address after they received a report of animal cruelty.
They arrived to find the dog-owner looking “visibly upset” as he retrieved his tiny pet from the bin.
After speaking to the man, they were told that his friend had hurled the puppy in the trash.
‘HEAVED DOG INTO BIN’
An eyewitness said that they saw a man “walk over to the dumpster near the property” before he “lifted the small dog over his head and heaved the dog into the dumpster”, the Providence Journal reports.
Balboni, of Dover, New Hampshire, was later identified as the suspect and interviewed by investigators.
He is said to have told them that he hadn’t slept and was sick of the dog approaching him and looking for attention.

Balboni has been charged with cruelty to animals.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
The dog was not injured and is now being cared for by its owner.
