RITA Simons became the fourth campmate to leave I’m A Celebrity last night.
The EastEnders actress lost out on the public vote on Tuesday night, leaving the show just a few days before the big final.
Who was voted off I’m A Celebrity last night?
Rita Simons was voted off I’m A Celeb on Tuesday, December 4, making her the fourth star to leave the jungle.
Rita , 41, is the niece of the billionaire and The Apprentice star Sir Alan Sugar.
Sir Alan’s wife, Ann Simons, who he married in 1968 is the sister of Rita’s dad Mark.
Speaking following her camp exit Rita said: “It is so tangible that I’m about to see my family.
“My barriers have come down a bit and I just miss them all massively.”
What happened in last night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity?
After Sair left the camp, the campmates realised they needed fresh water and so Nick and Emily went to get supplies. Before leaving camp Nick stripped off his clothes right down to his red smalls which made Emily burst out in laughter.
Harry, Emily and Nick left the camp to do the trial, where Dec explained the details: “This is the Wicked Warehouse, two of you will spend the duration of the trial lying down in the two large shipping crates.
The job of the third celebrity is to pack the crates with different critters. You’ll win stars for every critter that is successfully packed into the crate at the end of the time. Total of 8 stars up for grabs, each is worth a meal for camp. All of the critters will stay in the crates for the duration of the trial.”
Harry and Nick got into the crates and Emily was the packer. She had to place a cane toad on Nick and Harry’s face.
Emily also placed two rats on Harry’s stomach and two mud crabs on Nick’s feet.
For Harry, it was a crocodile and spiders.
As Harry, Emily and Rita were discussing their famous family members Emily said her whole family were in showbiz. “A bunch of show offs, I don’t think there is a single person in my family who has a real job.
“Christmas Day is definitely fun. I had comments when I was younger saying I’d only get into it because of my family. I’m related to a Beatle for goodness sake!”
Then it was off to James and Fleur who arrived at ‘Kev’s Carwash’ where James read out a Jungle laminate.
He said: “To win the dollars you must drive your best and pass the Jungle Driving Test. When one of you is blind and the other’s the guide. Hold on tight for a bumpy ride.”
As they went round the course a second time they knocked into things, had more slime and sawdust dumped on them but this time managed to pass at the end and get the dingo dollars.
A chicken coup arrived in camp containing eight eggs, each labelled with a camp mates name.
Using only their fingertips to pass the eggs along the length of the coop, the celebrities had to deliver the eggs safely to the basket at the other end. The eggs that made it into the basket represented a letter from home for that celebrity.
As the campmates went to bed while thunder and lightning followed by torrential rain poured down on them.
