Players who have signed up across the globe agree to donate one per cent of their salary to the cause.

Common Goal was launched alongside business partner Jurgen Griesbeck to help raise funds for underprivileged communities.

So far 68 players including the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Mats Hummels and Kasper Schmeichel have signed up to the cause.

And Balogun is just the latest to sign up after revealing he “wants to help people in need.”

Reported by the Daily Mail, he said: “I want to help people in need, people who are less fortunate than myself. We enjoy a very high status in society, we are role models and have a role to play.

‘We should help people who have been less fortunate than ourselves and don’t receive special treatment in many cases.”

Mata has previously urged his fellow professionals to get on board and sign up.

He said: “One of the first lessons I learned in football is that it takes a team to win a game.

“We live by this mantra on the pitch, yet we rarely see it play out in the social impact space, which is dominated by individual initiatives.

“Through Common Goal we’re creating a collaborative way for football to give back to society. I urge my fellow players to get involved.”

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
