New photo Deontay Wilder shows ‘video proof’ Tyson Fury did not beat 10 count as WBC champ eyes epic trilogy of fights

DEONTAY WILDER has taken to Instagram to prove that Tyson Fury did not beat the count during the twelfth round of their fight.

Wilder, 33 and Fury, 30, fought to a controversial split decision draw on Saturday night, with the American holding on to his WBC heavyweight world title.

It seemed like Fury had boxed to another famous win on away soil, however, in the final round Wilder dropped the challenger with a heavy right hand, left-hook combination.

As Fury’s head and body crashed down, it seemed like The Bronze Bomber had pulled off a dramatic late win.

Until the Gypsy King astonishingly rose from the canvas – much to the disbelief of Wilder and boxing fans.

One fan proved that Fury had beaten the count by just 0.1 second, however, Wilder himself is willing to disagree as he posted a video on Instagram that shows the Gypsy King just failing to rise in time.

Referee Jack Reiss adjudged Fury to have beaten the count, and the undefeated Brit would go on to end the final round on top, which capped off a brilliant performance by the Mancunian.

Despite Fury’s efforts the fight was scored a draw and talk of a rematch has already begun – with Wilder claiming in a recent conference call that he is also open to a trilogy of fights.

Wilder said: “You think the first fight was something? Oh, my god. Can’t wait for the second one.

“It might be a trilogy if we go as good as the first. But you’ll get the best of Deontay Wilder. You ain’t ever seen me in a boring fight.

“Me and Fury did it like true champions. We came together, we conversated amongst each other and we got this fight done because we are the best in the division and we wanted to prove to each other who is the best.

“We came together and did that, and it was amazing. And I’m ready to do it again.”

Despite a rematch seeming inevitable, current WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn have both expressed their interest to fight either Wilder or Fury.

Wilder, however, claims he has no other fighter than Fury on his mind, as he vows end any questions about the split decision.

He said: “We can’t get away from this fight. It’s only right for us to go back in and do it again.

“I don’t want no other fight to happen. He don’t have to worry about me moving past him, and I hope he don’t have to go fight no one else.

“Some people feel I don’t want the rematch. Why would I not? I’m the baddest man on the planet.

“Whenever he’s ready, I’m ready. I don’t want no one else but Tyson Fury. I think the fans deserve the rematch.

“Everyone wants to know what’s going to happen in the second fight, they got him winning, they got me winning and some got it a draw.”
