ONE pundit once famously told Manchester United: ‘You’ll never win anything with kids’.
The Red Devils will hope that isn’t true this season – as they’re getting set for a baby boom.
No fewer than FIVE first-team players at Old Trafford will become fathers this season.
Paul Pogba has been in form on the pitch since interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came in, with four goals (and three assists) for Manchester United.
Under Jose Mourinho he struggled to score on the field – but Pogba hasn’t had such trouble off it.
The French midfielder is expecting his first child with girlfriend Maria Salaues.

The gorgeous Bolivian was at United’s games against Huddersfield and Bournemouth at Old Trafford over the Christmas period – with Pogba grabbing himself two goals in both matches.
Defender Victor Lindelof also has a baby on the way after marrying Swedish stunner Maja Nilsson last summer.
Maja announced the news on her Instagram in October meaning the baby is due around early April.
She updated followers today, saying: “Week 27 and if I understand everything right I’m in the THIRD TRIMESTER now! This is going to fast.”
Lindelof could go from dud to dad as he was derided under Mourinho but has been a permanent fixture in the Premier League since Solskjaer took over last month.
He will be combining feeds and stopping forwards alongside fellow centre-back and father-to-be Chris Smalling.
The former Fulham star’s model wife Sam Cooke confirmed she is pregnant with their first child on Instagram on New Year’s Eve.
She posted: “Happy NYE from the Smallings! This year our dreams are coming true as we’ll be welcoming our first (non fury) son into the world.
“He’s got long legs that couldn’t quite fit into the pic just like his dad. We’re so excited and feeling so so blessed.”

Midfielder Fred and full-back Matteo Darmian complete the fathers’ five-a-side team.
Monique Salum and Brazilian Fred have posted plenty of snaps of the pair preparing to welcome son Benjamin into the world.
Darmian’s wife Francesca Cormanni also has a baby on the way — they shared their good news at the end of last year and even let Ettore their Mastiff help out with the announcement.
While United approach the end of the season and Solskjaer looks to do enough to get the Old Trafford job on a permanent basis, fatigue will no doubt be an issue after a tough campaign.
The Red Devils could well be fighting for Champions League and FA Cup glory as well as trying to sneak into the top four.
But it is going to be especially difficult for the five new dads as they deal with sleepless nights and added responsibility.
And they will hope those words from Alan Hansen prove as accurate as they did in 1995- and they do win something with kids.
