CORONATION Street’s Gina Sneddon pleaded with Tim Metcalfe to leave her sister Sally after their sordid romp during tonight’s episode.
Viewers were mutinous with the knicker snitcher, with many demanding she leave Weatherfield for good.
Tim and Gina ended up in bed together after a night of heavy drinking.
In the morning, Tim’s daughter Fay admitted she knew what had happened – leading to him confronting Gina.
He asked: “Can I ask you a question, Gina. What happened last night?”
When she finally came clean and told him it wasn’t bad, Tim was horrified and shouted: “What do you mean it’s not bad! I’ve had sex with my wife’s sister!
“Oh God what have I done!”
Gina, who’s developed a soft spot for Tim begged him to look at their relationship in a different light.
She told him: “Is it really that awful? You feel guilty – but don’t you think it’s been coming?
“We like each other, we have a connection.
“Sally’s cheated on you, she’s in prison for years, you’re a nice fellow. There’s only so much you can put up with…”
Meanwhile, Sally was seen in floods of tears in Weatherfield nick after Tim missed another visiting session.
Viewers were mutinous at Gina and blasted her “two-faced” behaviour.
One tweeted: “Oh f**k off Gina… you’re meant to be Sally’s sister, have some respect!”
Another commented: “Gina is such a bitch. It’s times like this when you wish Phelan was still lurking about up the Ginnel.”
While a third seethed: “Gina, he isn’t in love with you. Accept it.”
Fans weren’t the only ones mutinous with the situation, with Sally’s daughter Sophie losing the plot after discovering the betrayal.
Viewers know that in tomorrow night’s Christmas Day special, Tim will come clean to Gina.
