BORIS Johnson created a horde of new enemies last night by sacking nearly a dozen Cabinet ministers.
The new Prime Minister — who has a Commons majority of just three — fired 11 of Theresa May’s Cabinet less than two hours after being sworn in.

All but two of those sacked were Remainers. They included Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who was squeezed out after he turned down a demotion to Defence.
The Brexiteers to go were Penny Mordaunt and Liam Fox, who both backed Mr Hunt in the leadership race.
Four Remainer Cabinet ministers jumped before they were pushed.
Philip Hammond quit as Chancellor, followed out the door by David Gauke, Rory Stewart and Claire Perry.
Fellow Remainer David Lidington announced he was retiring from frontline politics, saying: “It’s the right moment to move on.”

Gaffe-prone Transport Secretary Chris Grayling also announced he was retiring from the frontbench — the only Brexiteer to leave his Cabinet post voluntarily.

Boris hinted at the bloodshed earlier this month when he said his favourite movie scene was Al Pacino’s “multiple retribution killings” as Don Corleone at the end of movie classic The Godfather.

After the drama — which coincided with the feast day of St Boris — a source close to Mr Hunt said: “Jeremy has always said that he was willing to serve and help Boris in uniting the country.
“But he didn’t want to take Penny’s job. She’s been doing a fantastic job as Defence Secretary and was a big supporter of his campaign.”
Ms Mordaunt’s sacking was a shock. One ally said: “She thought she was doing a good job and deserved to stay.”
