"Many Photos" - Boyzone's Keith Duffy is hospitalised in Bangkok after being taken ill before Thailand performance

Keith Duffy has been rushed to hospital Bangkok, Thailand during the Boyzone tour. 

A tweet from the boyband's official account announced that the 44-year-old would miss the show in the Thai capital on Thursday after falling ill. 

The tweet said: 'Keith was taken ill before the gig here in Bangkok this evening and has been admitted to hospital on the advice of the local medical team.

'Our brother will be back on his feet as soon as possible and we thank you for all your wonderful support in the meantime.'

A representative for Keith Duffy has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Keith's bandmates Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, and Shane Lynch went ahead with the show as a three piece.

A picture featured with their tweet shows the three singers performing on their own, without their 'brother'.

Arriving in Bangkok on Wednesday, Keith looked in good health in a video her shared with fans.

Making light of a few heavy nights in Hong Kong, he joked that the boys were 'a little bit tired because they partied too hard in Hong Kong.'

The 'Thank You And Goodnight' tour has been relentless ever since kicking off on January 23, 2019.

The boys toured England, Scotland and Wales before heading over to Australia, New Zealand and then Asia.

Ronan recently said that he never thought the band would have the mileage to celebrate a 25th anniversary tour.

Of course, the four-piece used to be a five until 10 years ago when Stephen Gately sadly passed away, at the age of 33.   

The singer died at his home in Majorca from an undiagnosed heart condition.

Stephen's presence has been felt throughout their latest tour, with tribute videos playing on the big screens. 

Boyzone temporarily parted ways back in 1999; it didn't last long as they were reunited in the late 2000s.

After six albums and sky-rocketing success, the boyband has now confirmed that 2019 will be the end of the road for their musical career.
