FOLLOWING a long and grey January, there is nothing more cheery than starting to think about the Eurovision.
But, who are in the running to represent the UK this year? Here is everything you need to know.
What are the UK’s top choices for the Eurovision Song Contest?
Viewers all across the UK will get to pick who and what song they want for the Eurovision.
Eurovision: You Decide will air TONIGHT (February 8, 2019) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
It is presented by Mel Giedroyc and Swedish pop star and 2015 Eurovision winner Mans Zelmerlow.
The three song options will be performed by the acts with different musical styles to prove that they’ve got what it takes.
These three songs are named Sweet Lies, Freaks, and Bigger Than Us.
The winner who will go on to represent the UK at Tel Aviv, Israel in May will be chosen by a celebrity panel combined with votes from viewers at home.
But, who are the potential UK Eurovision entries? Let’s have a look…

They are a three-piece girl group made up of Miracle 26, Blythe,24 and Kat,27.
They hail from Edinburgh, Devon, and Bristol respectively.
The band was formed in 2018 while the girls were at drama school together and performing in the West End.

In 2013 he appeared on Britain’s Got Talent as a member of the group The Luminites, who went on to reach the final.
Jordan went on to form another group, Chasing Midnight, before deciding to go solo.
When he was six-years-old he played one of the Lost Boys in the movie Finding Neverland alongside Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.
Michael Rice
Michael Rice, 21, will be singing the soulful ballad Bigger Than Us.
In 2018 he won the BBC show All Together Now.
He gave most of the 50k prize money to his mum to invest into her waffle and crepe business in Hartlepool.
Michael first rose to fame when a video of him busking went viral on YouTube.
Holly Tandy
Holly Tandy, 17, will be performing a country-pop version of Bigger Than Us.
In 2017 she reached the semi-final of the X Factor with mentor Sharon Osbourne.
She recently finished playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
She describes her version of Bigger Than Us as having a “Taylor Swift / Miley Cyrus vibe.”
Kerri-Anne
Kerri-Anne, 32, is singing an up-tempo version of Sweet Lies.
She comes from a musical family as her brother is a hip-hop/soul producer and her sister plays the harp.
She previously worked as a teacher in Dubai but has since moved back to the UK.
With a love of travelling she’s performed in various countries including Spain, Korea, and the Philippines.
