MANCHESTER UNITED have received a positive update in starlet Max Taylor’s fight against cancer.
The 16-year-old, formerly known as Max Dunne, has undergone chemotherapy for the deadly disease.
Now the club say they are looking forward to seeing the Under-23s ace back in the famous United shirt again.
Taylor remains in the recovery process and will continue to work with the Red Devils’ medical department for the “foreseeable future”.
In a statement released on ManUtd.com, the ace said: “I would like to thank everyone at the club that has helped me since day one.
“The nurses at the Christie and HCA healthcare, plus Melissa from MacMillan Cancer Support, have all provided me with wonderful care.
”Words cannot describe how much my family has helped me through this.
“My mum and stepdad Matthew, my brother George, Meir and my girlfriend Lydia, and all the rest of the family, have provided invaluable support.”

Taylor signed his first professional shirt contract at Old Trafford last year.
