"Many Photos" - Man Utd ‘ready to pay Spurs £34m’ top land Pochettino as next boss

MANCHESTER UNITED are prepared to pay £34million to prize Mauricio Pochettino away from Tottenham, according to reports.

If the club deem the Argentinian the right man to replace interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, executive vice chairman Ed Woodward will get out the chequebook to land their target.

They would face enormous resistance from Spurs though, who would dearly love their boss to make the new White Hart Lane their fortress.

It is also understood Poch, 46, is happy in North London.

According to the Standard, United are not short of the cash they need to make such an appointment, after revealing healthy figures in their recent financial report to the New York Stock Exchange.

The report adds they would spread the cost of any compensation fee over multiple instalments.
