ZINEDINE ZIDANE wants £200MILLION to overhaul Chelsea’s squad and turn them into Premier League and European contenders again.
The French legend is keen to talk seriously about replacing under-fire Maurizio Sarri but only if the Blues meet his demands.
As well as demanding a bumper new deal for Eden Hazard and a major say in recruitment alongside director Marina Granovskaia, Zidane wants £200m to improve the squad.
The ex-Real Madrid boss will also ask for more if any players out-of-favour at Stamford Bridge are sold.
Major signings could include Mauro Icardi, Isco, Kalidou Koulibaly and Alex Telles, who would all cost about £291m.
The Blues could make £91m in sales through the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcos Alonso, Willian, Pedro, Andreas Christensen, Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham.

Here, SunSport looks at how Chelsea could line up if Zidane’s wishes are met.
GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga
NO chance in being flogged after £71m move last summer.
Spain stopper has shown flashes of his potential after replacing Thibaut Courtois between the sticks.
LATEST CHELSEA NEWS
RB: Cesar Azpilicueta
THE fan favourite has fallen short of his usual consistent performances this season.
But replacing him is not seen as a priority and Azpilicueta would likely keep his place in the team.
CB: Antonio Rudiger
CHELSEA’S best defender this season and at 25, still has time to improve.
Quick enough to play in a high back line which Zidane favours.
CB: Kalidou Koulibaly
STELLAR name who could fix the Blues’ defensive problems.
Napoli centre-back is considered among the best in the world and would cost more than the record £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk at about £90m.
Chelsea will need to act quick as Manchester United are weighing up a move for Senegal star.
LB: Alex Telles
JUVENTUS full-back Alex Sandro is Chelsea’s No1 target to replace Marcos Alonso, who has seen his stock fall dramatically this season.
But the Brazilian would be too costly so £35m-rated Telles may be a better fit.
The Porto defender is a dynamic attacking force and quick enough to recovery when caught out of position.
CDM: N’Golo Kante
EXPECTED to be moved back into his preferred position under Zidane.
The France star won two Premier League titles and the World Cup playing as the shield in front of the back-four.
Countryman Zidane will benefit from his athleticism and work ethic at defensive mid.
RCM: Jorginho
Brazil-born central midfielder is first on Sarri’s team-sheet but in a deeper role.
Zidane favours a possession-based style of football and could prefer to use Jorginho’s precise passing further up the pitch as more of an attacking threat.
LCM: Isco
SPAIN playmaker had a number of run-ins with Zidane at the Bernabeu but ultimately hit top gear under his guidance.
Isco won three Champions Leagues under Zidane and another in 2014 while Carlo Ancelotti was Real manager.
SunSport revealed how Chelsea pulled the plug on a deal to bring Isco to Stamford Bridge last month after questioning his desire to play for the club.
Zidane may have to convince the Blues to make a U-turn and fork out about £70m for him.
RW: Christian Pulisic
CHELSEA fans are desperate for Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay at the club and take the right-wing spot for his own.
But after spending £58m on Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, who was loaned back to the club in January, the club are set to give him a place in the starting XI.
Pedro and Willian are both over 30, meaning Chelsea will only offer them one-year deals.
That could lead them to consider their futures elsewhere.
LW: Eden Hazard
ZIDANE’S arrival would be a massive boost in Chelsea’s battle to keep Hazard.
The Belgium superstar has made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid and with just one-and-a-half years left on his contract, the club could be forced to cash in.
But he is a huge fan of Juventus and Real legend Zidane and once said: “To play under him would be a dream.”
Zidane’s No1 aim is to secure Hazard a new deal so he can build the team around him.
Should he take over the reins, there is a huge chance Hazard will sign the £300,000-a-week offer that is on the table.
ST: Mauro Icardi
INTER MILAN hotshot is one of the most wanted men on the planet – and could set Chelsea back about £96m.
Having already been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, Zidane would be a huge pulling power in getting a deal over the line.
The Argentine is lightning-quick, brutally strong and a clinical finisher.
