GEMMA Collins’ Dancing on Ice partner Matt Evers reveals he has been told to give up on her – by ‘many industry professionals’.

The skating professional who partners the Essex reality star on the show has expressed how he’s even MORE determined than ever to make her a skating success.

He posted on Twitter a heartfelt message about how he had come to care for his partner, blonde bombshell Gemma.

The pro wrote: “I’ve been told by many industry professionals to give up on her.

“I refuse to give up especially when I see potential. This has fuelled me even more. It’s not my job to care but I do…”

After people disagreed with him and accused him of doing it all for publicity, he continued with his argument.

He replied: “Sorry you’re wrong. I am in the show till the final regardless. You forget we have opening numbers and pro numbers.

“This has nothing to do with publicity. It has everything to do with human spirit of which you seem to be an expert in.”

One critic remarked: “MATT EVERS HAS JUST BLOCKED ME FOR FOR TELLING THE TRUTH.”

While other more positive fans praised: “You are an absolute true gentleman. Everybody should truly respect you for sticking by Gemma like you have.”

Gemma wrote about her pro skating partner: “MY ROCK @themattevers…  against all odds and very nasty comments we are spreading LOVE and overcoming…”

The GC also threatened to expose ‘sad little trolls’ who have left him “very upset”. 

However, she sounded full of hope for this week’s skating. She wrote: “We are really making progress this week. Matt Evers is the best.”
