CHELSEA legend Frank Lampard has emerged as the early favourite to replace Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian boss, 60, admitted his job is on the line after Sunday’s devastating 6-0 defeat to Manchester City.

And bookmakers have named the Derby County manager as the most likely candidate to become the next permanent boss.
Zinedine Zidane, Gianfranco Zola, Diego Simeone, Brendan Rodgers and Jose Mourinho are all also in the running.
But Lampard, who spent 13 years playing for the Blues, is the favourite with 2/1 odds.
The legendary England international, 40, has made an encouraging start to his managerial career with the Rams this season.

He has guided his side to seventh in the Championship, with 14 wins and eight draws from 30 matches.
And he received a warm welcome from the home fans when he returned to Stamford Bridge with Derby earlier this season.
His side came close to causing a huge upset, but the Blues won 3-2 after two own goals and a strike from Cesc Fabregas.
Sarri fuelled speculation that his days are numbered at Chelsea after his side were thrashed at the Etihad.

When asked if he feared the sack, he said: “I don’t know. You have to ask the club.
“I am worried about my team, I’m worried about the performance. But my job is always at risk.”
And he took a cheeky swipe at club owner Roman Abramovich for not getting in touch with him.
He said: “If the president calls, I’ll be happy, seeing as I never hear from him. To be honest, I don’t know what to expect.
“I didn’t see my football. At the beginning of the season it worked. Now we need to understand the reasons why it isn’t working. It is not easy.”
