IF you struggle to get any uplift on your lashes without the aid of an eyelash curler, this mascara could be your makeup bag’s new secret weapon.
Beauty fans are raving over Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara, with a staggering 30,000 positive reviews swirling around the internet.
Roller Lash mascara, £22 from Benefit – buy now
The product, which comes in ink black or brown, promises to deliver a “sexy, wide-eyed look all day” and costs £22 for an 8.5g tube.
It’s apparently all down to its patent-pending Hook’n’Roll brush, which claims to grab, separate, lifts and curl eyelashes.
Not only that, it also contains a special setting formula which holds your lashes in place for 12 hours.
American Beauty blogger Mirella Belle raves about it on her YouTube channel, claiming it’s great for people with “hard to curl” or “very straight, stubborn” eyelashes.
In a before and after video she describes it as “very versatile” and a “good everyday mascara” – one of the best she’s ever used.
“I can’t say enough good things about it,” she gushes. “When I’m applying it, it really does lift up my lashes, you could actually see them curl in the process. It gives them an extreme lift and really makes them curl.”
Among the five star reviews on the Benefit website, one happy customer wrote: “Great for light and sparse lashes! I have dark blonde lashes and when I use this mascara, it’s like I’m wearing lash extensions.”
Another posted: “This is my all time favourite mascara. Perfect for subtle make up days but also build-able if you wanted a thicker, more defined look. I love the wand, it feels like it catches every lash. I have used this mascara for a few years now and can’t fault it.”
One fan called it the “Holy Grail product”, adding: “This is my favourite mid-high end mascara! It really lengthens and curls my lashes and is very build-able.
“I find one coat is perfect for an everyday natural look and if I want to amp it up I use 2-3 coats. It doesn’t get clumpy – it builds really well.
“It doesn’t smudge or flake under my eyes unless I’m wearing three coats and then it will flake slightly but this isn’t a deal breaker for me.”
