SILENT Witness fans noticed a big blunder tonight as a man was arrested before placing his head in his hands seconds later.
The hit BBC crime drama returned this evening focusing on the murder of a transgender person and a subsequent trans-related attack.
But viewers were distracted during one scene, as a suspect called Nick Marlow was cuffed and arrested by police, only to have his head in his hands in the cop car seconds later.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Hand cuffed hands behind back thrown in back of police car then shows you sat with head in hands #silentwitness”.
A second added: “Lovely continuity error in #SilentWitness: Guy cuffed behind his back, put into back of car, next shot holding his head in his hands.”
Meanwhile a third tweeted: “How did he get out those cuffs #SilentWitness” and a fourth shared: “Cuffed and then has a free right hand in the car…. @BBCOne #silentwitness.”
However it didn’t stop viewers enjoying the first episode, which appeared to put soldier Nick – who was also seen exploring his transgender feelings of wanting to become a woman – in the frame for the murder.
The team noticed a pattern in the killings, which saw the victims – all connected a transgender support group – throwing up in a toilet before having their throat slit from behind.
In the final moments, the team suspected it was Nick committing the crimes, and the fact he was seen walking out of a club after another victim was murdered in the loos merely added to their case.
Fans will have to wait until Wednesday night to find out if they are right, or if a further plot twist will reveal someone other than Nick to be the killer.
