A VILE mum has been charged with child neglect after letting her young kids’ teeth ROT AWAY in her horror home covered in animal poo.
Angelica Crites, 23, was taken to Okaloosa County Jail, Florida, after cops discovered that her children’s teeth were black and grey from a lack of care.
Her daughter called 911 after she and her brother – whose ages haven’t been revealed – couldn’t wake their mum, according to an arrest report from the Crestview Police Department.
Cops and firefighters rushed to the Crestview home and yelled at Crites through her locked bedroom door in an attempt to awaken her.
But they were forced to prise open the door and it took several minutes to rouse the woman as she was “tired” from staying out late with her mates, the cops’ report said.
There was an overwhelming odour of ammonia and faeces

Inside the home they were met by an “overwhelming odour of ammonia and faeces”, while large spider webs hung from ceilings and door frames.
Cobwebs also covered canned food in the pantry, and dirty dishes filled the kitchen sink.
The stomach-churning scene included animal faeces smeared on the floor leading to the bathroom.
More poo and mould could be seen in the corner of the hall by the bathroom door, the report added.
There were even several piles of animal excrement on the bathroom floor and inside the bath itself.
Cops said pets living there included several cats and one dog, which were seen running around and clambering over the furniture.
The kids, who had filthy feet, told officers a lamp had broken and the daughter sliced her foot open after accidentally stepping on glass.

Officers noticed food and dirt all over the living and dining room floors, with rubbish shoved in one corner and under the dining table.
Crites was fully aware of her home’s filthy condition, they noted in documentation prepared for the court.
The Department of Children and Families said the kids couldn’t stay in the house, reports Seacoast Online.
Crites, who shared a bedroom with her kids, is being held on a $4,000 bond at Okaloosa County Jail.
