PROMOTER Frank Warren revealed he is discussing a rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
Wilder, 33, defended his WBC heavyweight world title against Fury, 30, in December in a thrilling fight that saw the American fortunate to walk away with his belt after a split-decision draw.
Talk of a second fight has surfaced ever since and Fury’s promoter told BBC Sports he is in talks with Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel as they look to secure the rematch.
Warren said: “Whoever he fights next, if Tyson Fury fights in this country, it is going to be a sell-out, wherever he fights.
“At the moment I’m talking with Shelly Finkel, who looks after Wilder, and we are trying to get the rematch together.”
Fury twice rose from the canvas against Wilder before dominating the previous action with smart boxing, however, his efforts saw him remain undefeated but beltless.

The rematch seems inevitable due to the controversial result, however, current WBA, IBF and WBO world champion Anthony Joshua, 29, and his promoter Eddie Hearn have expressed interest in a fight with Wilder.
However, Warren believes Fury is the bigger fight for Wilder, while he also slammed the unified champion for his ‘corporate element’.
Warren said: “I think (Fury’s) now a bigger attraction than Anthony Joshua.
“There’s no corporate element with him. You don’t have to go through 100 people. You just pick the phone up. He walks down the street and he hasn’t got an entourage of minders.
“I loved Joshua as an amateur. I really liked watching him – a young guy, exciting and he seems to have reached a certain point in his career now where you can see what the flaws are.
“He’s vulnerable, he’s wobbled in most of his fights.
“Tyson only wants big fights. There’s only two big fights out there – that’s Wilder, and that’s Joshua. Joshua doesn’t even want to fight him because I think he knows he’ll get beat.”
