New photo El Chapo hitman had a soundproof murder room with drains on the floor for quick clean ups

A witness in Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's trial says one of the druglord's hitmen had a special 'murder room' to carry out grisly executions.

Edgar Galvan said Monday in court that hitman Antonio 'Jaguar' Marrufo's murder room was soundproof 'so no noise comes out' and was equipped with a 'drainage outlet' on the floor for quick cleanups.

'He took me once to a house, where the floor was just white, tiled,' the cartel snitch said. 'That's where he killed people.'

'In that house, no one comes out,' the 41-year-old told jurors in a New York City court room.

Edgar Galvan, 41, testified in front of a jury Monday in El Chapo's trial. He claims hitman Antonio 'Jaguar' Marrufo (pictured during his 2012 arrest) had a murder room where he would kill rival cartel members.

Galvan testified that he was a cab driver who became friends with hitman Marrufo in 2007 after his divorce. He said they hit it off and Marrufo became a 'party friend'.

He soon began living in El Paso, Texas, and working for Marrufo - who controlled Juarez for El Chapo's Sinloa Cartel, the New York Post reports.

Galvan said Maruffo had him help transfer guns over the border for 'cleaning' rival cartels in the Mexican city of Juarez.

He testified that 'cleaning' meant 'to kill all of the people' so El Chapo could seize control of the area.

It is still not clear whether the murder house is in Texas or Mexico and how many people were slaughtered there.

Galvan admitted to obtaining a gun on two occasions as a step in a murder plot lead by Marrufo, but he claims he never pulled the trigger himself.

He said he typically transferred AK-47 assault rifles and once stored a .50 caliber rifle.

A photo from the court shows him posing with that assault rifle inside what appears to be a home.

Galvan said he was so excited to see the size of the assault rifle, he assembled it and posed for a photo.

He was arrested in 2011 after four years of working with the cartel.

Galvan pleaded guilty to possession of narcotics and firearms and has served eight of his 24-year sentence.

Marrufo is currently in Mexcio prison.

The two last spoke in January 2010, when El Paso police raided the home of a friend who was storing 40 AK-47s, a grenade launcher, bulletproof vests and ammunition for the cartel.

Meanwhile, El Chapo's case continues as he's pleaded not guilty to a 17-count indictment, including firearms possession, murder conspiracy, and importation and distribution of cocaine.
