New photo Critics’ Choice Awards fans baffled as actor Cody Fern wears bizarre ‘hoof’ shoes and a crop top on the red carpet

CRITICS’ Choice fans have been left baffled after American Horror Story actor Cody Fern showed up wearing “hoof” shoes and a crop top to the red carpet.

The star, 30, showed off his unique style wearing bizarre blue boots that resembled goats’ trotters.

Cody attended the Santa Monica event on Sunday evening to support his show The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which was up for five awards.

But it was his fashion choices that really grabbed attention on social media.

Fans were quick to take to Twitter to share how confused they were at his rather unusual Maison Margiela boots.

One person wrote: “cody fern has so many hoof shoes he needs to be stopped.”

Another added: “i love everything about cody except for his love for that ugly ass hoof boots i dont claim that.”

And one Twitter user commented: “cody fern keeps wearing those hoof shoes… him and jin use the same wardrobe.”

But it wasn’t just his shoes that caused viewers to raise their eyebrows.

Cody also donned a suit which looked like it had been ripped on one side to expose his chest.

A female viewer wrote: “my mom walks into the room, looks over at the tv and goes, ‘why is cody fern’s nipple out on stage?’”

Another said: “Cody Fern’s outfits are way too advance for our times.”

One fan added: “what is cody fern wearing i-“.

However some people totally loved his out-there look, with one woman gushing: “starting to think its impossible for cody fern to wear a bad outfit or look anything less than perfect.”

Cody has starred in American Horror Story since 2011 and also played the role of Duncan Shepherd in House of Cards.

His show, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (FX), won Best Limited Series at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2019.

Daren Criss from the show picked up Best Actor in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
