ANNA Faris has congratulated her ex Chris Pratt on his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger after just seven months of dating.
The actress, 42, was praised by fans after telling the couple she’s “so happy” for them.
Underneath a pic of Chris kissing Katherine, she wrote: “I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!”
Chris and Anna split in August 2017 after “trying for a long time” to make their nine year marriage.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 39, took to Instagram this morning to reveal the happy news he had proposed to Katherine, who is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter.
Posting a picture of him cuddling his new fiancee as she showed off a huge diamond ring on her left hand, Chris wrote: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you.
“Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Katherine has now shared the same pic with the caption: “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you 
.”
The proposal comes after a whirlwind romance for the pair, who confirmed their relationship last July after being pictured enjoying a picnic together on Father’s Day in the US.
Katherine, 29, is the daughter of Terminator icon and Republican politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver, who reportedly introduced the newly-engaged couple.
Chris – who also stars in the Jurassic World franchise – was previously married to actress Anna from 2008 until they announced their split in 2017.
The couple have son Jack, six, together and their divorce was finalised last year.
Last week, Anna spoke about how the couple are juggling co-parenting their little boy.
She told the Unqualified podcast: “Chris and I work really hard ‘cause we have Jack, that is sort of the long game idea and making sure Jack is really happy, which makes us really happy.
“We have sort of the luxury of circumstance. You know, we are both in other loving relationships. … But It’s like, how do you not in general sink into a place of bitterness?”

Meanwhile a source previously told People Magazine that Chris and Katherine had grown serious about each other very quickly.
They said: “They’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future.
“Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine. She’s very excited.”
Another source added: “Chris and Katherine are very happy together.
“They’re very compatible and have a lot in common.”
