BRITISH wrestling fans sent Vince McMahon a huge message last night… and the WWE owner heard them loud and clear.
Recently-launched NXT UK, a developmental brand of WWE, held its first-ever pay-per-view extravaganza at the Empress Ballroom on Saturday.
And it turned to out to be a blockbuster as a number of stars stole the show, including a surprise appearance from Raw’s ex-Universal Champion Finn Balor.
The crowd were on their feet throughout, enthralled by the action while delivering a number of chants.
But the most memorable was one aimed the WWE’s legendary CEO, with the crowd singing “are you watching Vince McMahon?”
NXT founder Triple H was asked by WWE’s Radzi Chinyanganya about the Vince chant following the conclusion of TakeOver.
And although The Game praised the UK audience for their “unique” chanting ability, when quizzed directly about McMahon he told Chinyanganya: “I like you having a job.
“I’d like you to keep your job. Let’s just move on.”

But never one to disappoint, Vinny Mac not only let fans know he had indeed tuned in, he also revealed his thoughts on the show.
McMahon tweeted: “Yes, I watched #NXTUKTakeOver. Yes, it was awesome.”

And it seems thousands agreed with the billionaire after TakeOver received universal praise and trended No.1 worldwide.
