You know, I’m a hardcore movie geek, but I never really paid attention to Gwyneth Paltrow. Don’t get me wrong, she’s been fantastic in some movies, but she’s not exactly a celebrity that I’d go out of my way to follow.

Apparently I should though, not because she’s doing amazing work outside of acting or anything, but because she has a way of generating bat-shit insane quotes that come off as arrogant (apparently, whatever you do, do NOT ask Gwyneth Paltrow about yoga).

Which brings us to one of the strangest Twitter phenomena I’ve ever come across. A user somehow thought that Paltrow’s most absurd quotes would pair well with… Images from The Sopranos?

It’s weird as fuck, but I can’t describe why these are so funny. I think it’s the intensity of the characters from the show being paired with dumb shit like this?

These are so ridiculous that they loop back around to being funny, but I’m not going to lie, anytime I laugh at these, it’s a laugh followed by a strained look on my face trying to figure out why my brain thinks it’s funny. I just… I don’t know. I don’t know.
