THE safety officer at Hillsborough where 96 Liverpool fans died was “too busy entertaining corporate clients” to do the job on match days, a jury heard.
Graham Mackrell, 69, made the comment in 1987 to David Moore, once an environmental health officer with Sheffield city council.

Mr Moore said Mackrell was “flippant” at the meeting to discuss the role.
