KEEP your eyes open for UNBLINKING. He’s been in great form this season.
After winning on the Flat at Kempton he ran a personal best over hurdles when runner-up in a big-field handicap at Cheltenham.
The way he won at Warwick after travelling smoothly for much the race suggests he’ll be fine upped in grade.
Coeur Blimey put it all together when winning well at Hereford two weeks ago. Today’s better ground won’t suit him as well and he’s always been liable to put in some iffy jumps.
Subcontinent was runner-up behind Coeur Blimey at Hereford having earlier finished third in Unblinking’s Warwick success.
That gives him a bit to find but at least trainer Venetia Williams is in decent form. Dragon D’Estruval was disappointing when upped to 3m at this track last time out.
It might be unwise to blame the longer trip as he looked in need of it when winning at Ffos Las over 2m5f in May. He could well improve for his first run of the season but he will certainly need to.
BOY OH BOY Kemboy’s odds collapse for the Cheltenham Gold Cup after runaway win

REIKERS ISLAND looks a fruity bet in the Betway Mandarin Chase. He jumped like an old hand on only his second chase start when beating in-form Some Chaos at Wincanton three weeks ago.
The handicapper has shoved him up 13lbs but there’s no doubt he has the potential to be really smart.
My only worry is that he jumped out to his right on his first try over fences at Exeter but his only hurdles win came on Fontwell’s left-handed track so he should be ok.
Sir Ivan won first time out last season before finishing third behind Welsh National hero Elegant Escape and Black Corton at this track.
He blows more cold than hot but he might be best caught following a break. Carole’s Destrier ran Native River close in the Ladbrokes Trophy over today’s track and trip a couple of years ago.
He’s nowhere near as good as he was but at least he has slipped a fair way in the weights. Sandy Beach ground out victory at Uttoxeter last month.
He does have a good record when making his seasonal return so he might not improve much for that win and a stiffer test of stamina looks required these days.

PLAY it Cool in the Betway Challow Hurdle.
Fergal O’Brien won this Grade 1 last year with second-season novice Poetic Rhythm and he has a great chance of landing it again with similar type COOLANLY.
He came up against the likes of Samcro and Lalor last season. That experience was put to good use when he took apart a quality field at Cheltenham last month.
The form looks good and the drying ground is in his favour.
Champ pulled his way to the front in a Newbury handicap last time so it was impressive he still had enough in the tank to see it out in the closing stages.
He’s clearly very talented but I’m not sure he’s going to continue to get away racing so freely in the early stages.
Kateson is a horse I like a lot. He’s won both his hurdles starts and looks well worth a shot at this grade. I’m sure he’ll win more races but he might need conditions slightly more testing.
I’m sure Brewin’Upastorm is smart. He won well on his hurdles debut at Huntingdon but his inexperience is a slight concern today.

WENYERREADYFREDDIE looks a good bet to complete a hat-trick of wins. He’s thrived this season.
After winning easily at Ascot he returned to the Royal track to see off Kildisart in a novices’ chase last month.
That form looks really good as the runner-up won a graduation chase last week and Wenyerreadyfreddie has only been nudged up 3lbs.
Polydora jumped nicely when winning at Newcastle last time out but this looks a deeper race.
Walt took advantage of some indifferent jumps from his main rivals to win by a wide margin at Taunton. He will do well to follow up in this much tougher grade.
Onefitzall was a promising hurdler a few years ago but he failed to complete in two starts last season. He can only be watched on his chase debut.
Wilde Blue Yonder is another having his first try over fences. It’s hardly encouraging he’s hit the deck on his last two hurdles starts.
I’m expecting Golden Sunrise to run better than he did on his first chase run. That wouldn’t be hrd but his hurdles form gives him each-way claims.

GO to war with BATTLE OF SHILOH. He looked a fine prospect when winning his first four races a couple of years ago.
Things haven’t gone to plan since then but there was plenty of promise in his first start for nearly a year at Ascot last month.
That third behind Favorito Buck’s – when Cabaret Queen was back in fifth – came on decent ground and he looked like he would improve a fair bit for the run.
Station Master is the big danger. He chased home Just A Sting on his chase debut before filling the same position behind well-weighted The Young Master at Cheltenham.
Third-home Walk In The Mill went on to win the Becher Chase so the form looks good and the ground should be perfect for Station Master today.
Another Frontier has done all his winning in lesser grades, while Classic Ben would probably prefer softer ground.
LIFT OFF Gigginstown hoping Samcro can get his season off the ground in the Ryanair

GET the beers in on DRINKS INTERVAL. She won three of her first four starts over fences and she was still in front travelling well when she fell three from home at Market Rasen.
The ground was probably a touch too much on the soft side when she was runner-up behind Irish raider Magic Of Light at Newbury last time.
She had to work to get the lead on that occasion and she should have an easier time up front today.
The drop to 2m4f means she will be hard to pass if allowed to get into a nice rhythm at the head of affairs. Lady Buttons is a class mare.
The way she won a Newbury handicap at the Ladbrokes Trophy meeting was most impressive.
If she’s in that form she will certainly go close but I’m not convinced today’s extra half mile suits her as much.
Atlanta Ablaze made it three from four when landing a Warwick Listed race two weeks ago. The form of that race looks suspect and she needs another step forward today.
Sister Sibyl is more of a threat.

BALLYWOOD is the clear pick in a disappointing turnout for this novices’ chase.
His jumping was very good and he showed a decent attitude to hold off Capeland in the closing stages at Taunton a couple of weeks ago.
The runner-up won next time out to give the form a solid-look to it and I reckon Ballywood could easily progress into a smart chaser.
Kasakh Noir had been off the track for more than two years before his chase debut at Uttoxeter. He didn’t run particularly well but he obviously had the potential to sharpen up a lot for that return to action.
Huntsman Son was runner-up behind Kalashnikov at Warwick last month and he found the ground too soft at Uttoxeter last time. He’s my pick for the forecast spot.

LAST weekend Emma Lavelle and Aidan Coleman landed their first Grade 1 wins with Paisley Park.
This race might not be as prestigious but I think they’ve have themselves another winner with ENNISCOFFEY OSCAR.
His jumping has let him down over fences this season and I’m expecting him to enjoy this return to hurdles.
Both his wins last season came at this track – including a Grade 2 novices’ hurdle – and he looks nicely weighted.
Commodore Barry is the big threat. He’s won three of his last four races but he didn’t do much more than he was expected to do at Southwell last time out.
Blue Rambler is interesting but he’s not been in much form on the Flat this year.

Hayden Panettiere
Size: 8
Age: 18
Height: 5ft 1in
Weight: 8st
To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.
Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.
Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
