- PLUSH PENNIES: My first stop was the Disney store, which is selling giant soft toys for £20 each, down from £50. I picked up a Minnie Mouse for my niece.
- BARGAIN BEAUTY: I spotted a Revolution Lip advent calendar on offer in Superdrug, packed with £60 worth of items, for just £10. I know my sister will love this, and she can open the entire thing on Christmas Day.
- GAME NIGHT: I needed to get something for all the family. The Entertainer is having a massive sale, with games and toys up to 50 per cent off. I got the Wacky Face Connect Game for just £4 — was previously £20.
- SECONDHAND GAMES: My brother is a video game obsessive, so I went into the Game store to check out their pre-owned section. I was able to snag Destiny for the brilliant price of £1.99.
- FUNKY STATIONERY: Smiggle had 20 per cent off all full items in store, so I picked up a mini art set for my nephew, and it came with lots of cool stickers. It was only £4 in the sale.
- KEEPING MUM: My mum will be so busy on Christmas Day looking after everyone, so I got her a luxe robe from New Look to keep her cosy in the evening. Was £24,99, but I got it for £17.49.
