Working in the service industry means you gotta put on a smile and deal with assholes sometimes. Your feet hurt, you work weird hours and occasionally it’s utter mayhem. I was a server for a few years in college and boy did I deal with some shit. Definitely never spit in anyone’s food, but I would give people decaf coffee if they pissed me off. It doesn’t sound too mean, but I hope they were really fucking tired that day. These are some clever servers and bartenders (plus a few baristas) that have a pretty solid attitude at work.
