The tot, who weighs just over a stone, was born on December 12 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Texas, USA.
A spokesperson for Texas Health resources confirmed to USA Today that 21-inch tall Ali is the heaviest baby born ever born there.
And the doctor who delivered the tot for mum-of-two Jennifer and dad Eric, said he was the newborn is the largest he had ever encountered.

Mrs Medlock had expected her boy to weigh around 10lbs – around the weight of her two-year-old daughter when she was born.
But telling of her shock when she was told her son’s hefty weight, she added: “We did not expect 14 pounds – nobody did.”
Ali was delivered by C-section and was initially admitted to intensive care because of low blood sugar and platelets.
But he soon made a full recovery and was allowed home on December 19 – in time for Christmas.
Mum and baby are doing well at home in Arlington.
