MANCHESTER UNITED are prepared to offload Paul Pogba for the second time, reports suggest.

Old Trafford chiefs are prepared to cut their losses and sell the Frenchman just three years after they paid a record fee for Pogba, claim The Mirror.

Pogba, 25, and manager Jose Mourinho have bumped heads on several occasions this year with the Frenchman even being stripped of vice-captaincy earlier in the season.

United are now willing to sell Pogba in next months transfer window regardless of whether Mourinho is still in charge or not.

If Mourinho is to depart from Manchester then Old Trafford bosses are looking to avoid any similar problems Pogba could cause for the incoming new manager.

Reports suggest United will even listen to loan offers for Pogba with the view of a permanent deal next season.

Former club Juventus and La Liga leaders Barcelona are reportedly keen on acquiring Pogba’s services.

United are apparently looking to include a swap deal with either midfielder Miralem Pjanic or left-back Alex Sandro as Pogba could make his second return to Turin.

Pogba was sold by United in 2012 to Juventus for just £2 million only to re-sign him four years later for a then record fee of £89.3 million.

The World Cup winner has struggled to hit the heights he was achieved in Turin, where he won four Serie A titles.

Despite being a regular starter for United the Frenchman has never quite established his best position in the Reds starting 11.

In all competitions this season Pogba has scored five times in 20 games for United but his frequent rifts with Mourinho has led to a major breakdown in relationship.

Mourinho left Pogba out the starting line in United’s last two league matches as they drew at home to Arsenal 2-2 before beating Fulham 4-1 at Old Trafford.

Pogba did not even come on a sub against Fulham as United picked up their first league win in four matches.
