One of Iggy Azalea's backup dancers has suffered a seizure.
And fans on Twitter wasted no time in lambasting the Australian recording artist for continuing the performance despite seeing the individual on the ground.
The scary event happened while the dancer was on stage behind Iggy as she performed her song Black Widow in Brazil on Thursday.
Scary: One of Iggy Azalea's backup dancers suffered a seizure while performing in Brazil on Thursday
The 28-year-old Fancy rapper initially didn't notice the downed individual behind her.
But upon turning around and observing the woman, Iggy then turned back toward the crowd and requested that 'somebody bring a medic up here.'
She then continued singing while the remaining still-upright backup dancer tended to the victim with the others.
The song continued for another 20 seconds until the music was finally halted so medical staff mount the stage.
Normal so far: The scary event happened while the dancer was on stage behind Iggy as she performed her song Black Widow in Brazil on Thursday
Oblivious: The 28-year-old Fancy rapper initially didn't notice the downed individual behind her
Visual contact: Upon turning around and observing the woman, Iggy then turned back toward the crowd
Plea: She requested that 'somebody bring a medic up here' before continuing to sing
An ambulance then took the stricken individual away to hospital.
Following the incident, Iggy took to Instagram to reassure her fans that the dancer was in fact going to be alright.
'Hey guys, Just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY! The lights & heart caused her to have a seizure,' she explained, before stating that 'She is backstage feeling much better.'
Solidarity: She then continued singing while the remaining still-upright backup dancer tended to the victim with the others
Serious: The song continued for another 20 seconds until the music was finally halted so medical staff mount the stage
Positive vibes: Following the incident, Iggy took to Instagram to reassure her fans that the dancer was in fact going to be alright
But it seems the update didn't satisfy fans on Twitter, who quickly condemned the singer for her seemingly calloused reaction to the situation.
User @lanakane was quite verbose in her response to Iggy's post: 'I have never seen a performer look dead at someone who clearly needs serious medical attention and... keep going. She didn't even stop the song so they could make sure the medic was actually present/get that poor girl off stage. yuck, what a gross person!'
Other users, such as @shishybaby, took the opportunity to get a mean-spirited shot in while rebuking the songstress: 'Is she a psychpath? How can you see someone having a life threatening emergency and continue RAPPING (horribly) OVER THEIR BODY smh.'
Not good enough: It seems the update didn't satisfy fans on Twitter, who quickly condemned the singer for her seemingly calloused reaction to the situation

Ouch! Other users, such as @shishybaby, took the opportunity to get a mean-spirited shot in while rebuking the songstress
In response to the attacks, Iggy later posted another, longer, explanation to her Instagram story addressing what happened and her behavior toward her dancer.
'Also, for what it's worth in regards to the backup dancer,' she started, before responding in three parts.
'1. I thought she had just fallen/twisted her ankle and it may sound harsh but; you keep singing until the music stop & ask for a medic which is what I did,' she retorted in the first part of her explanation.
'2. We are all really shaken up by what happened & just thankful she is okay' she said before concluding with a lengthy third point.
'3. I know it's easy to make memes of someone "passed out"but someone having a seizure isn't funny, it's really scary! so I hope my fans do not repost some of the memes I'm seeing about my dancer.'
Her third point was no doubt referring to memes that quickly sprung up implying that Iggy was blind to the situation.
One humorous example posted by @rocket_number09 showed a small hamster with dark sunglasses and a cane along with the caption 'backup dancer passes out and has seizure on stage.'
Accurate? Her third point was no doubt referring to memes that quickly sprung up implying that Iggy was blind to the situation
