Sandals Resort launched campaigns to silence visitors who were drugged, raped and sexual assaulted at their Jamaican properties according to an explosive new expose.
Multiple victims came forward to speak with the Detroit Free Press, claiming that after they were assaulted at properties owned by the all-inclusive resort operator they were urged not to contact police and offered vouchers or free stays in exchange for signing an NDA.
In one case, a 18-year-old au pair said that she was drugged by a bartender at the Sandals-owned Beaches Negril Resort & Spa and then beaten, choked and raped by a man in her shower.
The resort responded by paying the family that employed here $25,000 and having them sign a contract promising they would not speak about the issue, but the victim herself did not receive any money or agree to a payout.
She did however file a police report and submit herself for a rape kit, but despite all this no arrest was ever made in the case.
Sandals would not comment on any of the specific allegations made by the women, but has repeatedly denied every paying out guests in exchange for their silence.

The teenager claims that Sandals knows who allegedly raped her that night but has refused to prosecute the individual.
Video shows him taking her into a restroom at the resort and then leaving alone.
She also said that the doctor who performed the rape kit told her that something 'definitely happened.'
Local authorities meanwhile claim that the toxicology report clearly shows the victim was never drugged, while the victim said the responding officer responded to her story by asking: 'Were you not warned about the culture here?'
She then told the victim to drink less.
There are multiple people who claim however that Sandals did just that when they learned that women had been sexually assaulted at their properties by one of the company's employees.
Ashley Reid Pascarella announced last month she is suing Sandals for $30 million after allegedly being assaulted by a butler on her wedding day.

In her lawsuit, Pascarella claims that Moral Adderley 'stealthily entered the bedroom ... and undertook surreptitiously to fondle, grope, and take sexual liberties of [the victim] beneath her bed-clothes and clothing.'
This all happened just hours before she was set to walk down the aisle, and the attack might have continued she suggests had her husband-to-be not entered the room shortly after the alleged assault.
Pascarella claims in her court filing that even more shocking than the $15,000 payout she was allegedly offered by the resort was the fact that the sane butler was on hand the very next morning to bring the newlyweds breakfast.
The couple also claim they were asked not to notify local police.
Adderley has appeared on local news shows in jamaica denying the allegations for the past few weeks, and Sandals has said that the lawsuit presents 'a self-serving, one-sided and incomplete version of an incident reported in 2016.'
A year prior, a teenager from michigan and her friend, 21, both came forward to claim that they had been raped inside a laundry room by lifeguards who were employed at Beaches Ochos Rios.
That property is also owned by Sandals.
Arrests were actually made in that case, but there has still not been a trial more than three years after the men were booked by local police.
And a decade before that, a North Carolina man said his honeymoon was ruined when a dancer sexually assaulted his wife at Sandals.
The resort at first offered the couple a free massage and later gave them a seven-day stay at any of their resorts, but did not force them to sign an NDA.
There was also an email acknowledging the incident writen by the manager at the time.
"While the incident has been denied by the team member, as mutually agreed, we will replace your seven honeymoon nights as a goodwill gesture,' it read in part.
'Please note also that we have taken off the spa charge that we offered along with the phone charges incurred in respect of the incident.'
The alleged perpetrator of the assault was never disciplined however after denying the couple's claim.
Thirteen years later, this is still happening though according to Melissa Blayton.
She shared her ordeal on Monday when she appeared on Good Morning America, claiming she had to fight an employee off after her took her out to sea under the guise of giving her a sailing lesson then forced himself on her in the vessel.
When she finally told a manager after spending days locked in her hotel room and showed him a photo of the worker, he allegedly replied: 'He has been with us for over 20 years and he has a family to support.'
A short while later she was presented with a $4,500 credit for a future trip and given an NDA to sign.

She was told the employee had been fired and police were notified of the incident, but she cannot confirm that either of those claims are in fact true.
Sandals also seemed to contradict their previous claims in their response to the GMA interview, acknowledging that women had received vouchers or free stays after signing NDAs, which Deputy Chairman of Sandals Resorts International Adam Stewart called a 'settlement agreement.'
He said that despite the Free Press being told: 'In no way does Sandals discourage guests or others from reporting allegations of criminal conduct to law enforcement or from cooperating with law enforcement investigations.'
The company went on to state: 'Refunds are not offered to guests who report being victims of criminal assault where an active law enforcement investigation or prosecution is underway. Where there is no active criminal investigation or prosecution, on rare occasions, we do offer refunds or similar compensation when our guests feel that we did not meet expectations which may include releases and confidentiality, as is industry practice.'
