BOLD, outspoken and brutally honest, Saira Khan has become a known face thanks to her stint in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2016, and her time as a Loose Women panellist.
Here is what you need to know about Saira, who shot to fame after appearing on The Apprentice.
Who is Saira Khan?
Saira, 48, was a finalist in the first ever series of the Apprentice in 2005.
The candidate stood out from the crowd with her enthusiastic attitude and crazy-quick sales patter.
She has been married to husband Steve Hyde since 2004, and together they have two children – Zach and Amara Hyde.
One of four children from a Pakistani family, Saira has often talked about her experience growing up as a first-generation immigrant in the UK.
She bravely revealed on an episode of Loose Women that she was abused by an uncle at the age of 13, and urged others to come forward.
As a result, singer Rebecca Ferguson came forward and revealed she was sexually abused in a children’s home.
Where else would I have seen Saira?
Saira’s now a regular panellist on Loose Women and makes appearances on game shows including Pointless, Countdown and Ready, Steady, Cook.
She has co-hosted the Martin Lewis Money Show, appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, and joined the Loose Women panel in 2015.
Saira’s honesty landed her in trouble when she told the nation that she had lost her sex drive and had given her husband a get out of jail free card to sleep with other women.
The star later entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in August 2016.
On October 2, 2018, Saira revealed that she will be competing on Dancing on Ice.
Talking to her Loose Women colleagues, she said: “They asked me to do it, I said no, I’m too old and my little boy said, ‘have you heard yourself, mum?’
“‘What if I said mum I can’t do my homework today because I’m too busy?’ He shamed me into doing it.”

What did Saira get up to inside the CBB house?
Saira’s straight talking and wacky personality didn’t exactly endear her to the younger contestants.
Lewis Bloor and Stephen Bear said they found Saira patronising, while Marnie Simpson was accused of bullying Saira when she flashed her.
Saira also managed to annoy James Whale when she unapologetically asked him why the show tagged him as someone who might come across as racist.
After three days, Saira broke down in the CBB diary room – and fellow Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan admitted it was heartbreaking to see Saira in that way.
The star later became the second person to be evicted from the house.
Is Saira competing in Dancing on Ice 2019?
She’s been confirmed as a contestant for the show alongside Brian McFadden and Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton.
And, just as she was with The Apprentice, Saira has already admitted she’s getting competitive.
She said “I’m in it to win it”.
When will Dancing on Ice 2019 start?
Dancing on Ice 2019 returns to ITV on Sunday January 6 at 6pm.
Phillip Schofield will be back to present the hit show once more alongside Holly Willoughby, who revealed the news of the show’s return live on This Morning in late January.
Skating icons and current judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will return as judges, alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.
The next series is set to reunite Jason and Karen Barber seven years after their heated on-air row after former Olympic skater Karen has landed the role of head coach.
“Having been involved with the show since its very first series, it holds a lot of special memories to me and I’m looking forward to working with this year’s celebrities as we start transforming them into skating stars,” she said.
