H&M has been taking the high street by storm with its affordable designer collaborations.
But an item from its most recent collection with Moschino has raised a few eyebrows.

Shoppers have been left puzzled by the grey marl skirt, named ‘skirt with a hood’ which looks like a folded up hoody.
The limited edition piece costs £34.99 and is available in a variety of countries, from Finland to Poland and even China.
It is described as a “short skirt in a lightweight organic cotton sweatshirt fabric with a decorative, double-layered drawstring hood at the top.
“Two-way zip down the front, side pockets and a ribbed hem”.

Available in sizes four to 14 it doesn’t seem like it’s gone down well with H&M customers.
Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their opinions on the unique creation, with one comparing it to a “dog jacket”.
Another asked “are the people at H&M okay?”, with another chiming in: “what are H&M smoking?”
While another added: “If this is today’s fashion then grab me a binbag to wear. Skirt with a hood??? Are you having a laugh.”

But the skirt is not without its fans and has a four-and-a-half star rating on the H&M website.
And although it skirt might not be the most practical (really, who needs a hood on a skirt?!) – it does look rather comfy.
The grey marl material features heavily in the Moschino collection and there are also bras and even a hooded top for a dog in the same fabric.
