CHRISTMAS is the season of feasting, so it’s also the perfect time to invest in a Fitbit too.
Whether it’s a self-help tool or a gift for someone else, you might as well bag a deal on your purchase – and Currys is running a very tempting offer.
The UK retailer has shaved a generous £39.99 off the price of a Fitbit Charge 2.
That’s not bad, given that the Fitbit Charge 2’s normal retail price is £109.98.
It means you’ll only pay £69.99 for this slick fitness tracker – a real bargain.
According to our Amazon price tracker, Currys’ price is unbeaten too – the lowest price was £74.99.

And the product’s average selling price on Amazon is £105.42, down from the original R.R.P of £129.99.
So there’s no denying this Currys offer is good value for money.
But what does the Fitbit Charge 2 actually do?
It’s a fitness tracker at its core, so it can track your steps, distance travelled, and calories burned.
This particular model can also monitor your heart rate, which gives you more accurate calorie-burn read-outs – but is also handy from a health perspective.
There’s a sleep monitor built-in, too. This pairs with a silent vibration alarm that wakes you up during a light sleep phase in the morning, so you don’t rise feeling groggy.
The battery life is a fairly decent five days, which isn’t bad considering there’s a built-in screen.
The screen can show your fitness data, plus the time and date – so it effectively doubles as a watch too.
And unsurprisingly, the Fitbit Charge 2 is deemed “splashproof”, which means it’s fine to use while sweaty, or when running in the rain.

Currys customer reviews of the product are generally positive, too.
The Fitbit Charge 2 has earned a 8.9/10 score based on 4,352 reviews, with the gadget’s design earning the highest praise.
The bad news is that we’re not sure how long this deal will last, so if you want to shed some post-Christmas pounds, it’s worth snapping it up as soon as possible.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
