JUST when viewers of Emmerdale thought the murky story line between Jacob Gallagher and teacher Maya Stepney couldn’t get any grubbier, things took a dark turn in tonight’s episode.
After Jacob loses his virginity to Gabby, fans are convinced that she is now pregnant.
The controversial story line has seen Jacob fall deeper and deeper under his dad’s girlfriend’s spell.
Despite Maya being well over 30 and him just 15 years of age, the school boy is getting more and more desperate by the day.
Viewers were outraged when traumatised Jacob tried to lose his virginity at a party by making a move on Liv Flaherty.
When she knocked him back he sought solace in Gabby Thomas, who admitted she had always liked him.

The pair began kissing and Gabby encouraged Jacob to have sex, with the pair heading upstairs to the bedroom.
In Monday’s visit to the village viewers saw Jacob deliberately ignore Gabby following their tryst, leaving her confused and hurt as she’d assumed they would now become a proper couple.
Gabby later confronts Jacob who insists they should forget anything ever happened between them.
Upset, the school girl confides in her mum Bernice, who marches round to the shop to give Jacob a stern talking to.
Monster Maya is later told by a visibly upset Jacob about what was really going through his mind.
He tells her: “I wish none of it had happened. I thought it might change the way I felt about you.
“It was the first time and it should have been with you. I can’t do this, I can’t do any of it.”
The grooming storyline has divided viewers and Emmerdale producers hinted that even more is yet to come as it explores this dangerous plot.

As part of its research, the show has consulted with Barnardo’s and met real-life survivors of sexual abuse.
The storyline will continue in tomorrow’s Christmas episode, as Jacob and Maya kiss yet again.
