EASTENDERS fans rejoiced during this evening’s episode of the BBC One soap, with Mick Carter finally starting his revenge plan against evil Stuart Highway.
The fed-up landlord was released from prison earlier this week after Stuart set him up and got him behind bars for attempted murder.
Now Mick, played by Danny Dyer, is thirsty for revenge – and wasted no time in getting his own back on his former pal.
Viewers watched in excitement as Mick surprised Stuart in Phil Mitchell’s arches, knocking him to the ground with a heavy blow to the head before locking him in the boot of a car.
The lovable character was sure to gag the bald baddie – as well as tie his arms behind his back.
Shutting the boot of his car, Mick told Stuart: “Let’s go on a little sleigh ride.”
Taking to social media, fans couldn’t get enough of vengeful Mick – tweeting how satisfying the attack had been to watch.
One tweeted: “Yes, Mick! You absolute diamond! It’s about time that Stuart muppet got knocked down a peg or two!! My god, I’ve missed you!!”
Another added: “Go’awn Mick! Give him hell. Waited months for this moment! It’s about time the tables turned.”
A third wrote: “Oi Oi, if that wasn’t old school Danny Dyer on Eastenders I don’t know what is! Making us all excited for the Christmas episode.”
Mick was jailed in August after evil Stuart shot himself and claimed that it was Mick’s doing.
Mick was then left devastated when his wife Linda, played by Kellie Bright, appeared to side with Stuart following his conviction.
Unaware that it was all part of an elaborate plan, Mick genuinely believed that Linda had abandoned him for his nemesis – with Linda even getting intimate with Stuart as she tried to get evidence of the truth.
Playing a long game, the landlady cut Mick off and started divorce proceedings – letting Stuart think that she was starting to fall for him.
However, it all came to a head during last week’s stunning two-hander episode, where Linda was attacked by the evil character in her bid to get a recorded confession.

Despite that confession being the reason for Mick’s release from jail, Mick has struggled to accept Linda’s fake betrayal upon his return to Walford.
He has refused to even speak to his wife after learning that Stuart worked at the Vic and lived in his home while he was in the slammer.
The Sun Online revealed earlier this week that the Carters will be at the forefront of the soap’s Christmas episodes, with a spokeswoman for the show teasing Mick’s violent revenge on Stuart.
The rep said: “Mick Carter is finally reunited with his beloved Linda but with revenge on his mind, Christmas will be anything but peaceful for the Carters.”
