DEONTAY WILDER claims Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn have resorted to begging him to agree to a world title unification fight.
WBC heavyweight champion Wilder has been after a fight with Joshua for the past year but the British star’s camp have never settled on a deal.
Joshua and Hearn are said to have snubbed the offer of a two-fight deal earlier this year which would have potentially been worth £64million.
Yet the American claims all that has changed following his controversial draw with Tyson Fury at the start of this month.
“They’re definitely begging now. He’s trying to reach out all of a sudden,” Wilder told Joe Rogan on his podcast.
“His management have been trying to reach out to mine as well.
“He could have had this opportunity, he had many opportunities.
“He could have fought Luis Ortiz, he could have fought me, he had a chance to fight Fury.”
Wilder, 33, says Joshua’s camp are now desperate to get secure a deal which would see the pair clash at Wembley Stadium in April.
But Wilder is also looking at a lucrative rematch against Fury, which will now be a huge worldwide event given the result in their first fight in Los Angeles.

That leaves Joshua in the unusual position of not being the only huge fight out there for Wilder to choose, with three fighters vying for the title of the best heavyweight on the planet.
Wilder added: “People want to know who’s the best.
“Especially after seeing this Fury fight, and I’ve been trying to show people who is the best.
“I’m always going to say I’m the best until I’m defeated.”
