A DEMANDING Meghan Markle emails her staff instructions as early as 5am, it has been claimed.
Revelations of the Duchess of Sussex‘s demands – including dawn calls and texts to staff – comes as it was revealed her PA quit after just six months in the role.
French assistant Melissa Toubati, who played a “pivotal role in the success of the Royal Wedding” ditched her plum appointment after “putting up with a lot”.
A source told the Mirror: “Her job was highly pressurised and in the end it became too much. She put up with quite a lot. Meghan put a lot of demands on her and it ended up with her in tears.
“She is hugely talented and played a pivotal role in the success of the royal wedding. She’ll be missed by everyone in the household.
“Melissa is a total professional and fantastic at her job, but things came to a head and it was easier for them both to go their separate ways.”
Pregnant Meghan Markle is said to have an unrelenting schedule – said to bombard her staff at dawn with various demands.
And she is said to have “ripped up the rulebook” when it comes to the Royals with her constant messages to staff.
A royal insider said: “Meghan can be difficult.
She has very high standards and is used to working in a Hollywood environment.
“However, there’s a different degree of respect in the royal household and Kate has always been very careful about how she has acted around staff.”
It comes as tensions between Meghan and Kate Middleton are rumoured to be the cause of a growing rift between Princes Harry and William.
Kate allegedly tore into Meghan after she “b*******d” a member of staff.
A royal aide claimed Meghan was “downright rude”.
The source said: “Kate had a quiet word with Meghan.
“It escalated rapidly after Meghan complained to Harry that she had been ‘told off’.
“He took her side, while William defended Kate, who was five months pregnant with Louis and certainly didn’t want this sort of confrontation.”
The row, which has been denied by the Palace, comes after we revealed the Duchess of Sussex made Kate cry over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress.
Michelle Obama has since advised Meghan Markle to “take some time” to settle into her new role as a Royal.
While not commenting on the rumoured Royal rift itself, Michelle Obama – whose husband Barack served as the US president from 2009 to 2017 – said she understood the pressure Meghan was under.
Speaking in a magazine interview with Good House Keeping, Michelle said: “Like me, Meghan probably never dreamt that she’d have a life like this, and the pressure you feel – from yourself and from others – can sometimes feel like a lot.
“So my biggest pieces of advice would be to take some time and don’t be in a hurry to do anything.”
The former First Lady said she spent the first few months in the White House thinking about her daughters before launching into charity work – saying it was good to get settled first.
She added: “What I’d say is that there’s so much opportunity to do good with a platform like that – and I think Meghan can maximise her impact for others, as well her own happiness, if she’s doing something that resonates with her personally.”
